Paul J. Hamill focuses on public entity representation. His specific areas of expertise include labor negotiations, employee discipline and release, labor grievances, board policy analysis and drafting, implementation of workplace violence injunctions and general civil litigation. Mr. Hamill also has experience in defending claims of sexual harassment, employment discrimination, wrongful termination and investigating employee discipline issues. Mr. Hamill is the chief negotiator with a number of our clients’ collective bargaining units, and has participated in extensive and detailed labor negotiations, employee misconduct investigations, employee layoffs and negotiated a large number of employee resignations.
Additionally, Mr. Hamill has extensive experience with civil litigation procedure and discovery including written discovery, depositions, mediation and judicial and private arbitrations. He is responsible for the favorable settlement of numerous civil litigation cases on behalf of both plaintiff and defendant clients.
