Loni Y. Chhen is an associate attorney at Timothy M. Cary & Associates. Ms. Chhen represents and defends clients in both transactional and civil litigation matters, with a focus on representing public entities and school districts.
Ms. Chhen has experience in business/commercial litigation and employment-related matters. She has represented clients on a broad range of issues, including, but not limited to, litigation of contract and employment matters as well as drafting and assisting clients with severance agreements and policy manuals. She has also advised clients on wage and hour claims and defended them on matters involving the Department of Fair Employment & Housing (DFEH), such as race and gender discrimination.
Ms. Chhen also has experience in insurance defense, specializing in workers’ compensation law defending employers and/or their insurance carriers on related labor and employment issues. She began her legal career working in a general practice firm representing its family law and personal injury clients.
